today....

I am hoping the flu is going to be done today...It has been nine days now BUT today, this made me happy....just little things that people do to make a BIG difference. I love that!! check it out! (you need to click on The Live Brightly Project....soo cool!)

First week of summer

and we have the flu running through our house....running through it FAST!! Natalee started it out on Sunday and so far Emilee and Karlee have both been hit :( not my favorite way to start out our first week of summer vacation at all so hoping that if it is going to get Rylee that it happens fast (and to Karl and I for that matter)....I feel like I am missing out on way too much!!!

Big A, Little B, and Little A....

Just a quick one because I want to be a better blogger but I am reallllly tired tonight! I did want to show off these beautiful pictures of three of my favorite people ever....you've seen them before but I LOVE this pic of them....(and I got this in about ten minutes...pretty awesome huh??!) I know it sounds really silly but sometimes just looking at these pictures makes me happy...if I need a little something to help me smile these do it every time.....

anyone who knows my brother knows he is serious probably 10% of the time (and that's when he's talking money!!) but otherwise THIS is him and this is why he can always make me laugh:

The weekend....

We had one of those really productive weekends...you know, where all the laundry gets caught up (as it will ever be) and the lawn and yard got taken care of, I cut Karl's hair before it was a whole month overdue, cleaned the bathrooms, actually PUT the laundry away for a change.....ahhhhh it makes a huge difference in how I feel starting the week out too....

we also got to see Alex and Bethany's new house that is being built....it is absolutely stunning....SUCH an amazingly beautiful home they are going to have!! Makes me so proud of them!! Then we went to my parent's for a BBQ and a little birthday celebration for my Rylee girl....did a very mini photo shoot of my gorgeous parents....
